Eddy completed his medical training in Trinity College, University of Dublin in 2012 and moved to Perth in 2013.
He has worked in various hospital settings in metropolitan and rural hospitals, for the next 8 years. Throughout his career, he has primarily focused on surgery, with a sizeable time spent in General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Orthopaedics. He completed his General Practice training in 2024.
Given his extensive experience in surgery, Edward has a keen interest in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery. To this end has completed the Skin Cancer College of Australia’s Certificate in Dermoscopy and Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine and Advanced Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery. He will be continuing with the Advanced Certificate in Dermoscopy in 2027.
Dr Siddens is proficient in Dermoscopic Diagnosis of Skin cancer conditions and is comfortable with all aspect of skin cancer surgeries, from simple biopsies and excision throughout the body and face to larger excisions that require construction with skin grafts or flaps.
